FSU Fall Convocation Address
Fayetteville State University will kick off the 144th academic year with Fall Convocation. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Felton J. Capel Arena. The public is invited to attend. Keynote speaker for the event will be New York Times best-selling author and FSU English Professor Carole Boston Weatherford. Don't Get on the Ride
How many times in life can you recall, some of you recently, wherein a friend, loved one, relative or business associate initiated a conversation with you that you knew was going to take you through multiple levels of emotion to include, mad, angry, irritated, sad, heartbroken, disappointed, you get the picture, all at the same time. In the end, you are left to wonder, "Why did I even go down this road"? The better question is, "why did I get on this ride"?

Yes, I Have a File
I'm realizing every day just how many women need hope.I have spoken with numbers of women over the last 7 1/2 years about marriage issues and crises they are facing. So many so that I don't even remember who they all are. And that can get embarrassing when you meet them face to face. I tell you that because a lot of these women are referred to me because they are now "going through" what I "went through". So, I visit with these women....
